Client & Goal (The Challenge)

The Bentonville Public Library wanted to launch a new community seed library to promote gardening education and local sustainability. The goal was to raise awareness, encourage sign-ups, and engage the local community through multiple channels.

What I Did (The Solution)

I created a cohesive multi-channel campaign that included writing a press release for local media, designing and scheduling social media posts, and representing the project in a live interview with KUAF Public Radioas well as a newsletter to the 10, 000 subscribers of the Library. My role combined content writing, graphic design, and community outreach to build excitement and trust around the new service.

Information Architecture (How I Structured It)

I organized the messaging to reach diverse audiences — using clear, accessible language in the press release to attract local news coverage, consistent visuals and calls-to-action on social media to drive awareness, and key talking points for the radio interview to reinforce the library’s mission and the benefits of the seed library.

Outcome (The Results)

The campaign helped the BPL Seed Library launch with strong community interest, resulting in high early participation and ongoing engagement. The KUAF interview reached a wider regional audience, positioning the library as a leader in sustainability and local education initiatives. You can listen to the interview here!
